Smile How would you optimize? HELP

Need some advise:

ok, I tryed the validator and not that I can really understand anything it is telling be - but unfortunity, it seems to not be a valid document....

All critiques are welcomed.....
as you will notice - the site is targeting domain name registration and hosting among other related web services...

I have been working on this site for over a year and atleast I have been able to aquire a pr5, but that hasn't helped boost sales in the least.

This site is nowhere in search results for it's purpose of sales although company name is highly effective.

what can I do to create a better presence online for this business....?

My compitition is by far - untouchable it seems....

Companies like Godaddy, ipowerweb, and Network Solutions are holding 1st page results by SEO and "Huge" Overture and Adsense campaigns... by huge - I'm talking upto the tune of 17.00 per click on some keywords.... That's insanity! they must be reaping in fortunes of revenue to offer those size of CPC's....

Well - anyways....

If anyone has any ideas for my small company it would be greatly appreciated....

Thanks to responding members!

Ok, first of all it looks nice. Good clean layout.

As for what is going on in the code ?

Simple thing first.

Add a meta description tag and reduce the number of keywords you've got.

How come your links are taking you out of your site?

Ref: https://www.secureserver.net/firsts...firststep%2Easp

This stuff won't be followed by any spider that I know of.

<b>.net</b>

Repeated lots of times...

All I can say is WHY?????

You need to sit down and redo the code big time.

I've never seen so much code in all my life,

it's a wonder a spider can find any text to index!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What did you do for the last year? Add 5 lines of code per day?

Sorry....

i've seen that kind of site many times. its an affiliate kind of site. basically, its just a template that is given to the affiliates to use, and they then attach a domain name to it. i dont know how much control the affiliate has over the code itself, if any. if you do have control over the code, then spend some time cleaning it up. if you don't have control over the code, then there's not much advice to be given.

Ok - Wow - lots of responces.....

Well - Yes it is an affiliate type of site....

I do have complete control of the code - but all the links out that are for purchases and logins are to secureserver.net....
that's the part I cant change.

searchen.com - consists of about 5 pages.... faq , contact, etc

everything else is secureserver

Meta name description IS there....

my indexable text is too low on the page....... That's one thing I know is not helping - but all the code for scripts - I think I'm stuck with it....

:-?
