This is something of a test and I would like your opinions on my website. I ask for a review of my site on another forum on the 29th of apr. As of this morning that forum site was ranked for the search phrase atlanta real estate # 33. Atlanta Real Estate is my primary keyword. Please visit www.atlanta-real-estate-homefinder.com and please give me your opinions. I have top 5 or better rankings in Y for all my major search terms..but for G I am not ranked. Oh by the way I would like to see if this post gets ranked as well..test

I have a total of 2450 backlinks indexed by G and a PR 7 with over 200 pages indexed. This site is somewhat new but it seems that everyone that has a link coming into me has ranked for the key phrases Atlanta Real Estate. I dont understand it and it has me all flustered lol..when I dont rank in google for that phrase.

Your opinions and comment would be most welcomed.

if you have had search engine optimization work done by seo guy...then why do you need a site review?

There has been no real optimizing done yet. We are still building pages. I am just a little confused about everyone that is linking to me is showing up for my keywords in google but I am not LOL. The post I made on the other forum for a site review on the 29th is now ranked 30 for atlanta real estate. Plus everyone else that links to me is ranked for atlanta real estate LOL. I looked at the top 500 results in G for that phrase and it looks like everyone is ranked other then myself . So you can imagine how my mind is running away with me..and that doesnt take much .hahaha. I would almost bet that this post within 2 days is ranked for the same key phrase.

I am just looking for opinions why this is happening. I am new to seoing but I am a fast study so I love the info.

Heh ZOO you cheeky monkey, we wont be doing SEO to the site until all the content is loaded which the webmaster is working on now but that was not the point of the post.

This is the situation all of the sites that are linking to this site are coming up top 100 for his keywords. For instance if I link to him with anchor "atlanta real estate agent" then I rank for that term, most of his link partners are all coming up for the keywords they use to link to him and even in forum posts such as this one as long as it links to his domain it ranks. So he's really just testing to see if this post will now rank for atlanta real estate or something its actually an interesting phenomenon, I find I outrank most people I link to for their keywords just by giving them a link too if their a new site

I like the site. The right and left hand column menu system is unique but works for the site.


I do like multi hypenated domain names b/c in my experiences they really help with SEO of the site 2 main reasons
1)Keyword domain name
2)Anchor Text


I find this ironic too but it seems to happen more when the link is first indexed and stays that way until the next update. It would be interesting to see if the keyword ranking stays during the next update or gets replaced with the actual site that you are linking to?

This is currently happening to my friends site that I listed into my link directory.
If you perform a google search for lighting mikes window tinting you get business directory of my site in which his link is there.

I'm goting to follow this over time to see if my link disappears and mine gets replaced...

Well as posted on another thread here. This post and forum are now ranking in google #1 2 and 3 for the search term Atlanta Realtor and also number 33 for search term Atlanta Real Estate in G. This is driving me nuts LOL
