PR is solely determined by the number of backlinks into your site (links from sites to yours). If you don't have any, get some!

Hmm... interesting challenge. Site is in Chinese characters.
There must be someone in this forum that can comment on foreign languages and chinese characters in particular, and how Google and other search engines work with this. However, from what I can gather from the code, it looks like you have most of the basic SEO pieces in place. There doesn't seem to be any reason that you would have been banned by search engines from what I see, not do you say that, so I imagine that this is a fairly recent launch of the website. If not, then there is a bit more to worry about. Dazzlin'Donna is correct in recommending back links, specifically for raising your PR in Google. I don't know if having www.21fz.com in Chinese characters in your title is the best use of the title tag for SEO. You might want to look at that. Regards, Agalychnis |

Windows 98 machines have the updated PR that will be out in a day or two for others or you can add a code to your computer and see it. Your site will be a PR3 when thay finish the updates.

Does PR improve your rankings? I've done several searches for certain terms and find that lower pr sites
can still be on top of higher pr sites. When I first started I had a pr of 0 and was higher than sites with pr of 5. Didn't really make any sense to me. How about sites that have a lot of irrelavant backlinks? Like the people who do mass mailings for link requests. They will link to anyone and everyone. This is something I'd never want to do. I'd love to just provide high quality sites for my visitors. I guess google doesn't know if the link is high quality, they just know its a link. Tim Handmade Soap |
