Hi

I would appreciate you taking a look at my website www.parrotize.co.uk and recommending any changes to help boost my ranking, especially on google. my keywords are "bird cages", "parrot cages" and "parrot toys", but ranking is very low or no existent on some searches.

Can anyone please help me improve my site for better rankings.

Your long term problem is back links. You need back links with your keywords as anchor text to rank really well in google. Come back to that.

Your immediate problem is on page optimisation. You have very little content on your main page. It's not a 'big thing' these days in google but it does help so you should make the most of it.

Put a bit more content (using your main keywords) on your main page then come back here. We can then help you with density of your keywords to get your page right before you start to work on your back links.

Good luck - it will take a bit of time but stick with it, you'll get there

One thing I have noticed there is a missing image linking to

Top right of the page.
Get you web site listed on as many free directory sites as possibl;e this will increase you links and you web site prescence.

I'll certainly add more content to the home page.
