Hello Friends
I'd sure like some comments on http://puntdebanderas.com. It's a commercial (for profit) real estate site concentrating on real estate sales, vacation homes and condos in the Puerto Vallarta area. I started posting pages to search engines the first of January...so not a whole lot of time has elapsed.

I'm a semi-retired realtor and this is my first stab and building a website. Writing pages is the easy part ...getting indexed is the problem. I've chosen to do all the 'free' stuff first before dumping a bunch of money on Yahoo, Overture, and the like.

The search engines frequently see only the home page (/index.htm) and ignore or don't spyder the remaining 50+ pages. That makes the company name fairly accessible...and "Puerto Vallarta Real Estate" to a lesser extent, but the pages like "luxury condos" or "vacation rentals" will never be found. We also have multiple pages of travel tips and advise that visitors might find useful....and the same problem.

ExactSeek.com is the only one I know of that did a thorough job of indexing. The others suck!

Any words of advise?

One word: Patience.

It takes time. In the meantime, get backlinks to the site that point directly at some of the internal pages you are interested in having indexed. But patience will win.

The title has the correct spelling zoo. I got the same message and then noticed that the domain was spelled differently in the title, and that one worked.

i would avoid listing any links to your site without the 'www'.
also...do not link to your home page...external or internal....using http://www.puntadebanderas.com/index.htm
use http://www.puntadebanderas.com/ instead.

The business about using ".www" was a subtle detail I didn't fully understand...same with "/index.htm. I can surely get those straight fairly quickly.
Finding suitable backlinks to a 'commercial' site is probablimatical....local competitors surely won't...but I did find some real estate directories that will link eventually.

Patience isn't my best virtue! Any other tips on getting the whole site spydered, beyond the home page?

no probablima....

u can get backlinks from real estate sites of some other places ( even other continents ) and do use ur keywords in anchor text..

But beofre that use wordtracker.com to know about the proper keywords/phrases u should target.
