This is just my personal opinion. Not a bad looking site at all.
No off the hip suggestions will help this site. About the only thing I see wrong, or lets say it another way, omitted is the title tags for your images.
Your title could be optimized a little better, include some keywords in it. Same for your desciption.
So if you really want to improve this site, I would suggest spend the bucks and turn a SEO loose on it for a couple of months.
I analyized your backlink profile. Your AT (anchor text) looks to be fine, nothing stands out as over used. You have good diversity.
You got a little over 2000 backlinks. Not bad for eight years.
About 20 percent of you backlinks are restricted from indexing. What this means is that even tho the link is do follow and does link back, it is restricted from being indexed. This has nothing to do with Google. It is the site doing it.
Bottom line this link is basically useless for SEO purposes. A lot of lost juice, some of the sites have a pr as high as 4. You may want to check into this.

Here to Help, Nothing More.....
Good SEO isn't Cheap and Cheap SEO isn't Good !!
Look like an excellently put together & branded site..
I can only guess that you have been hired to do their SEO?.. looks like a mistake by them.

On page wise, everything looks okay...a pretty neat and well designed website
The only thing you need to focus all your energy on is to acquire more quality links to the website..not only to the homepage but also to the deeper pages.
Going to technorati and interacting with fashion bloggers might be a good start...but before that, you might want to go through the style tips page on your website..just to have something to kickstart the conversation with the bloggers.
All the best!
Your big thing seems to be setting your 'style DNA' but it took me a while to find the link to do that and it was not clearly labeled. With a quick glance that is the only thing I would change. Make the banner clickable.
You can look at doing A-B split testing to improve usability and conversion statistics.
