Site's been up about a year.
PR6 on homepage.

Used many techniques given right here on SEO Chat and was doing quite well. ie Top 10 on Google for terms: "vacation home rentals", "hawaii vacation home rentals", "South Carolina vacation rentals" etc. All from the home page.

Back in June each page that linked from homepage had a PR5. Then came the MAJOR change at Google and all the DYNAMIC pages become PR0. The dynamic pages still ranked fairly well on results pages eventhough they lost PR.

Friday we put into production custom 404 process to make dynamic pages search engine friendly and hopefully regain PR. We only put it together for one state, GA. Monday the homepage is nowhere in the SERP's for any keyphrase.

NEED OPINIONS!!!! Is this a coincidence?? Or did Google see the transfer as something shifty?

Anybody?? I could really use some help on this!

Well the site is still in there if you search for the URL so it hasn't fallen out of the indexes completely and it doesn't seem to have affected the PR. I can't see why the changes you have made would affect it. Has the site been cached yet? What key phrases are you optimizing for? Sorry I can't be more helpful.

Thanks for your response.

I think that the timing of the Dance and our changes were a very poor coincidence.

The homepage was doing well for a number of key phrases:
Vacation home rentals
South carolina vacation rentals
bahamas vacation rentals
....
....

It was hitting top 10 for about 35 phrases just from the home page. Then, wham!!!

Anyway, I am convinced that the homepage had something that Google didn't like (I guess that's pretty obvious) but I'm using the down time to redesign the site.

If you could suggest any SEO stuff to do I's be most grateful.
