SEO review please
Hi everyone,
I'm new to this forum and would like an seo review of my site: www.active-pet-beds.com I launched this site about 6 months ago. I'm trying to rank "dog beds" and "cat beds". At first I started link exchanges with unrelated sites to boost PR but abandoned this when serps of dog beds and cat beds were no where to be found. I've now started linking with pet related sites only and "dog beds" is now about postion 220 on google and "cat beds" is at about 100. For over 2 months now "dog beds" and "cat beds" have not moved at all. I've continually added "dog beds" and "cat beds" anchor text links on pet sites and pet directories but nothing is helping. Just this past week, I changed my title to just my keywords in hopes that google would not see it as being diluted at all with other words which were in the tag, same with my h1 and h2 tags. I don't know what else to do really. My allinanchor: dog beds allintext:dog beds allintitle:dog beds are on the first page of google results but my actual serps seem forever stuck. -Linda |

Keep getting the keyword anchor links. It takes time.
Google is stalling and putting a time buffer to mix the cards. If you change onpage stuff it changes nothing to the rankings. So the offpage is the one that counts most. If you change someting today and the changes only show in 1-2 months, will you be able to tell it's that change that did it? Neat trick. So get more links and be patient... it takes time now, not like pre-florida where you could be 1st page easy. Last edited by Jocelyn : June 13th, 2004 at 08:42 AM. |

If anyone has any comments regarding my onpage optimization for "dog beds" and
"cat beds" that would be great. I've kept the density up for these keywords and kept the keywords in the H1 and H2 tags. Not sure if at this point it's over optimized or not. http://www.active-pet-beds.com |
