SEO Advice www.datamaticsinc.com

I completely changed our website to this new one. I tried to focus on SEO guidelines I've been researching but around 10am Est. today our site suddenly was getting 0 hits.
I think that the new site has finally been indexed with google, and now I'm not getting anything. We usually average 1 visit every 5 minutes. The SEO the old site had was little to none, so I don't understand it.

Any advice about what I'm doing wrong or about the effects of creating a new site has on search engines would be very helpful.
