I wonder if some experts can review my site

www.englishdaily626.com

This site doesn't seem to do well so far. Not many visitors and dismal performance after being launched for some time.

The first thing I would do on the home page is add a paragraph of text (headed by a H1 tag) that explains what the site is about. Within this paragraph, I would use whatever keyword phrase you are targeting at least a couple of times. (Am guessing that keyword phrase might be Learn English). This will pump up the keyword density on the page and allow Google to know what this site is really about. You have decent PR already, so consider checking what the anchor text is that is being used in the links to your site. Do those links use your keyword phrase as the anchor text? If not, either ask them to change the anchor text, or get new backlinks with good anchor text. Those are the two things I would concentrate on for now - giving google some more content that focuses on your keyword phrase to chew on, and giving google some anchor text leading to your site that contains your keyword phrase.

Thanks donna,
First of all, I hope you can treat me as technical illiterate first to be frank . I almost know nothing about how to deal with a site technically. As you can notice there is no asking for username or password things in my site. Not because I don't want but because I don't know, to tell the truth, huh. What a shame !!! Can you be more specifics about your recommendation ? Better give an example I think I already have ' description ' on my page and ' keywords ' ? Furthermore, people talk about PR all the time, what it stands for anyway ? anchor text is another thing i don't know about.

Sorry I didn't realize you were completely new to this. Your best bet is to read the following, and then what I answered will make more sense. http://www.seo-guy.com/tutorial.html and http://www.abakus-internet-marketin...al/grundlag.htm

It helps but I dont' think I understand fully . It doesn't matter though, things can't be learned overnight

Good Content

Hi,
What Donna tried explaining is simple..& abolutely necessary.
Your site has great content.
Try to use more content on the home page itself.
Currently..the home page starts with lots of graphics..just push them a little down..and place a paragraph of text to start the page.
This paragraph should contain your target keywords...& a description of your site's offerings.

I beleive in the saying "Content is the King".
You have godo content...proper SEO will give you great results.
All the best.

WC

Is the site about American English or British English - I presume american but it might be wise to make it plain which. Nice site though with some good content. Good luck with it.

Nick
