Please Review ZapMeta - New Search Engine

Please let us know what you think of our new meta-search engine...

1. Speed - Fast? Average? Slow?
What do you think of ZapMeta's speed comparing to other meta search engines?

2. Advanced Search and Preferences - Useful or Useless?
Advanced search enables users to restrict their search and the ability to customize the output of their results. Preferences were made to work in conjunction with advanced search. In other words, if you change a value in preferences, it will also be reflected in advanced search if the value is present.

3. Design - Visually appealing or overloaded with graphics?
What do you think of our effort in trying to put a distinction between ZapMeta's design and the plain html design of most search engines?

4. Result Relevancy - On the mark or not close at all?
We wanted ZapMeta to return relevant results, so sponsored links will never be included in the actual results (unless selected in preferences). Along with our smart algorithm, ZapMeta is able to produce more relevant results than most meta search engines. Or at least that's what we think, let us know your thoughts.

5. Bugs and Errors
Please report any bug or error if you encounter them.

I really like your site.

Actually, I like it a lot! Now if only you had a toolbar! :-) Basically, the answer to all your questions is Very Good. I will most likely use it often. Good job! Now go out there and make sure people know about it. (and make a toolbar - ah, i'm repeating myself).

I have one question to ask. Why is Google not in your search results? I think I know the answer but wanted to hear it from you.
I also agree with dazzlingdonna. You need a toolbar even tho I am running out of places to put them LOL. Your results were quick, accurate and totally in sync. Congrats.

The reason google is not included is because we currently do not have a contract with them. Hopefully we can work something out in the near future. However, we do have aol wich uses google so you will basically get the same results.

A toolbar in on the way it should be out in a month.

I kinda figured that khn. Glad to hear a toolbar is on the way and wish you much success. Will you have advertising on the meta search pages?

I like it!! and Ive bookmarked it!

Just a few comments

1) My site is on AOL but only brings up MSN and Hotbot.. any reasons? It's a shame because I feature highly on AOL due to Google results!

2) When you click quick view the frame (inline?) doesnt view all of the websites, it could do with shifting over a little.

3) When I clicked on shopping it went to the first site in the results.. or couldnt find anything do with the category I was searching for.. how does the shopping work?

4) Are you taking sponsored links or advertising on your site.. might be interested depending if you do ppc and your cheap ;o)

There will be text link advertising soon, but right now we are more concern with developing loyal users than generating revenue.

We only fetch 10 results from aol so could it be that your site is not in the top 10?

Don't quit understand what you are trying to explain. Can you please provide further details. But shopping allow you to search for a product and compair the prices between different stores.
