what are keywords like "altavista" "google" "yahoo" doing in your meta tags? Are they on your page?

You want good, clear, keyword/phrase rich text on your page... 2-3 paragraphs of it. Cut down your meta tag keywords to what appears on each page. Many SE don't look at meta keywords anymore, but for those that do, make them relevant to the content on the page. Take all javascripts and put them into an external file also... that cleans things up a tad...

oh and make the text links on the pages, have your keywords in them, and add a title attribute to them. That may help. Maybe narrow down your keyphrases to two or three and concentrate on those.
