Please Review my Holistic Personal care site

My site's URL has been up for a few months now and google just gave me PR.
How can I impove my site and raise my PR? I have no clue about keywords and density. Is it that a keyword must be repeated 6 times for evry 100 words of text per page? I have about 150 pages in my site.

PR (and rankings) are raised the more links you have pointing to your site with your keyphrases in. Get lots of links to your site with your keyphrases as the anchor text.

You've got too many keywords, you only need half of those. Optimise different pages on your site for different keyphrases and use the keywords you've taken out in those.

Aha! I love it when people really are interested in learning for themselves I personally, don't think keyword density is that important in Google, on my own site I've been as low as 1.5% and I'm presently at almost 10% - I've seen nothing in Googles results to lead me to believe that raising the density to that level has increased my position. It DOES help on Yahoo and other engines though ;) Don't go crazy with keyword density simply because in most cases it looks nasty, 10% for a one word keyword and 5-7% for a two word keyphrase is more than enough.

Don't take everything it says as gospel but it will give you a good grounding about on page optimisation. After that you can tweek your site yourself, leave it for a week then see if it has made any difference in where you rank.

Hi and thanks for all of your suggestions

I was wondering, on my Essential Oil product page I list 51 oils by common & botanical name. Would it be spamming to add "essential oil" 51 times next to the common name. Example: Anise Seed Essential Oil instead of just Anise Seed.

Right now my essential oil page has just a pr of 1.
