Question Please Review - ammolite.co.uk

Hello

my website : www.ammolite.co.uk

Could you please give me your comments good or bad ?

- Do you like the look (if not what don't you like)?

- Is it easy to navigate?

- Is it fast enough to download?

- What should I change or add?

Also could you try the 'Create your own jewellery' tool and tell me if you find it easy to use?

I will appreciate any comments, I need to know what people think when they see my website !!

thanks

The items of your site don't seem to line up in any fashion. Gives a moderate feel of disorganization.
With a fast loading time, your graphics are of notably poor quality. Most visible of them is the "Create your own jewellery" button. Short loading time is a definite plus, but finding the line between apperance and load time is ideal.

You may want to also avoid too many seperate windows. A large majority of users aren't fond of navagating between multiple windows to access parts of your site. Condensing your additional content into a similar design as the home page with navagation would improve your site by quite a bit.

Lastly, it's spelled jewelry not jewellery.

Good luck.

To add: both are correct, but according to Google (?) and its dictionaries, jewelry is the "preferred" word. Then again, it could be wise to go for the word that has less competition. It's your call...

I tried to construct a piece of jewelry/jewellery, but a choice I made in one window apparently showed in another. I could not deduct (without reading any in-depth instructions which may or may not be present) what it took to complete one set: I lost overview. Mind you - I tried to mimic an average website visitor (so don't question my IQ... ;) ;) ) I guess MaxM is right about the multi-window thing. It doesn't help.

P.S.: must say these gems are beautiful

Smile

Thanks for all your comments it really helps me !

I agree that my graphics (banner and basket button) are not good enough quality.
I will change them.

But what about the photos, are they ok?

I will also try to make the 'Make your own jewellery' more user friendly !!

As for the spelling of 'jewellery' it is how we write it here in England (and most of our customers are in the UK).
I am sure you know that there are certain spelling differences between the UK and the US.......:O)

thanks
Joanne

I haven't seen it spelled the way you had. My mistake if that's the case.
