I have been working on this site day and night to try and get it listed and ranked. Last time it was indexed all the meta tags were wrong, I think that I have done all that I can, using addweb, and web position gold, but after reading all the post here I am still not sure. Darrin gave me some advise a while back about guest books, (dont do them) and I have since that time created tons of links with linkpartners, at this time about 185 recipricating links. Is there any thing else I should do before the dance that any one else sees. My Keyword is collection agnecy. I know, who wants to help a collection agency, but we only collect on commercial accounts...ie b2b. Please let me know thanks.

the dance is nothing more than the actual updating of the index. The deepcrawl should be a few days after that , and that is where you will get picked up for the next dance or not. Also if you are linked to some good PR sites, they get the freshbot more often, and then you will be crawled from there.

Do not use automated submission software. If you have to submit, do it by hand. If you are linked to other good sites, and they rank high and have a good PR, then you should be spidered in the next crawl without having to submit at all... It takes time, when did you go live?

Also, you have almost NO alt tags that I could see... get them on there... also, for all your text links, use a title for them.

OK? The content is good, keyword rich, and if the links you have coming in to you are good, then you should start to do better.

What exact phrases are you targeting other than "collection agency"? You might want to get more specific in locale, or in types, not saying you can't rank high in your term, just that Rome wasn't financed in a day.

Thank you for your input. I am not submitting any more, and havent for months. The freshbot is all over my site 5-6 times today according to my logs. I know i need to do the alt tags, yuk but I am unsure of what you mean about titles? could you explain more on this?

In each text link, and what is basically an alt tag for text...
a href="blah blah.htm" title="your key phrase that pertains to the link">text here</a

and yes I know about alt tags... on any blank ones, don't just leave them out, put in alt="" and text readers understand there is nothing there...

Keep building links, you have a PR4 so that is good, the phrase you chose is pretty general, narrow it down maybe.
