page rank of link page

Hi,
My name is Ken Adair and I am your newest member. I hope to be of some help to the forum, but at this time I am looking for help.
I'll make it short!
I use Pro Zeus for my link program and do not have a page rank for my link page. I am told that it is because my link page is called "themeindex" and needs to be changed to another name. If any one here uses Zeus, could you help me with this. I have been trying for a couple of weeks now.

Many out there use the free zeus and all look the same .
You need to customise yours to look like the rest of your site.
You do have page rank zero so dont worry about this right now as the tool bar isnt giving correct results right now.
On your themeindex page you repeat words like betting, Gambling, Casinos in the link text, I would have one link named gambling then spit the categories down on the page it links to, same applies to the other repeated keywords, also its good idea on the page gambling to include around 50 misc links on gambling that way you wont have loads of pages with just a few links to the internal links pages ie you have text content as well as links.
You can sort this in the directory manager fairly quickly.

Have been trying to do that for two weeks now. Even over the phone with Peter at Zeus, and have had no luck I had a evaluation version of winzip and it expired and cannot afford to purchase it. Understand that is required! Peter suggested that I get into one of the group calls, but I have no long distance on my service. But, be that as it may, do you have any other suggestions as to how to change that name. I have tried for many, many hours with no luck.

Ok here we go its fairly easy just follow these steps-
Locate this text file in your cyber-robotics files in program files on your hard drive
rename_themeindex_template
open this file (note pad ) by clicking on it
Scroll down to the bottom of the text and locate the following

The following are parameters for the creation of the Link Directory.
--- Do not change these settings unless you know what you are doin

LinkDirectoryFolder="links"
ThemeIndex="themeindex"

Rename the above ThemeIndex="themeindex" to
ThemeIndex="Index"
Now save this file as (save as) themeindex_template omitting the rename_ bit
Now here is where I feel you may be going wrong-
You now need to move this text file into zeus misc file in order for zeus to find it .
Copy this file , go to folder links, then misc , now paste the file here , all the files are within cyber robotics file.
Make sure you do not have zeus running when you carry out the above.
When you start zeus he will find this text file and rename the themeindex to index.
You can check that the page has changed by clicking on directory manager.

I want to thank you for your help in changing my link page name.
I could not get it to work and appreciate your step by step instruction.
You could answer one question for me though. Is the group calls for Zeus toll free or does a person have to have long distance phone service. Peter suggested that I get in on that call for some more help. By the way, I could not find that info to change name at the template you suggested but it is on the "themepage_template" on my computer.

I'm a huge fan of Zeus and those calls are the only problem I've seen. It is a long distance call and I waited on the line for 15 minutes and no one from Cyber Robotics ever came on.

Ok Ken here is the file , just copy and paste this into note pad then save as themepage_template I've changed the name of your themeindex page to index.
Place this text file in zeus misc folder that contains the other text files. (they are in cyber robotics>Zeus>Links > misc
