Ok, lemme have it! Review my site please!
Hi everyone!
I hope you can take just a minute to check out the site I am soon to launch. I am targeting TWO keyword/phase groups and they are: 1. rational unified process / rup / rational suites, etc. 2. offshore development, offshore programmers, offshore website, etc. So, you can see that my site is text-heavy, has lots of relevant content, and blah blah. I did my best to seo the darn thing.. Any feedback would be appreciated!! thanks |

Ummm, haven't gone through all your site yet, but the first thing that strikes me with your strategy is do people actually search for RUP? As a system analyst/developer I am familiar with it, but why would someone who isn't familiar with it search for it in the first place? Wouldn't it make more sense to target a phrase such as "system development method" or something thereabout? |

Ok, I just hit the Overture search term suggestion and came up with a grand total of about 5000 searches done for your first group of target phrases. So I stand corrected.

actually...
Actually it's interesting that you mention that.
We get 90% of our traffic for the terms 'rational unified process' and 'rup'. However, my little consulting group specializes in TWO seperate fields, rup and offshore development. We are trying to develop a practice that integrates both, using rup to enhance offshore services and using offshore services to reduce the cost of rup. Problem is, we hardly get any traffic in the 'offshore' keyword categories. Can anyone help my understand why this sites get's so much traffic for 'rational unified process' and so little for 'offshore development' ?? thanks, Dave |
