new website can bring single keyword traffic

suppose we i want bring my website in fisrt page in google and keyword is only "india"

i means can my website can come fisrt thru this keyword.

if yes then anybody guide me step by step to bring my site on first page thru this "india" keyword.

this will help us to bring many other keywords also.

I think you need to choose targeted keyword than untargeted word like 'india', if want to sell something to your traffic. Untargeted traffic just use only your bandwidth....

I got 85,500,000 result for India . where u are now. It is possible that is why 10 out of 85,500,000 on first page. They have done it. You can do it too.

Is the website just about India as a country? If not you would be a lot better aiming to rank for much more targeted keywords and phrases.

You mean on a budget that is less than any of the current top ten? What is your budget?

i know if your keyword is not related to your website then it will eat only your bandwidth.

i asked this bcos nowdays no one talking about single keyword optimization. i also heard this long back before 2000 only.
