New to SEO..not sure where to start

Please review this site URL

Hi-I have been working on websites for a little while-mostly for fun and free. I am pretty new to SEO concepts and frankly overwhelmed with all of the tips that I have read and continue to read. So I am hoping that a few of you can point me in the right direction and a good place to start.

I can't seem to get this site listed in Google for anything. I am not sure if the domain has been blacklisted or if it because the site is most database driven using php.

Keywords are
Stuffed Toys, Carnival Supplies, Novelties, Plush Toys

Thanks for helping and thanks for this Great Bulletin Board

Since I can't tell if the text on the opening page is generated from a database or in the page, I'll give it a go anyway.

I might think about making the text much more appealing. Use those keywords in the text, 3- 4 times each, in natural sentences. Put it high up on the page, right now the robot has a TON of javascript, flash etc.. to go thru to get to a few dribs of text. Remember, the robots read the text only....
Then you should also use some text links at the bottom fro the robots to crawl, they may have a tough time crawling the rollovers. It is also better for overall useability. Robots also cannot read the links in the flash buttons at all... so once it gets to the page, it has nowhere to go, and very little food on the page to eat. You need to feed search engines TEXT! They live eat, breathe textual content. No content, no ranking. Easiest way is to put up her for text, a sales pitch... what you would have on a brouchure to "sell" the company.

That should give you a good starting point.
