New search engine for auto sites

I just launched my new site which is pretty much a yahoo style directory for automotive sites. I run 3 fairly large auto related message boards, so that will be the initial source for some of the traffic. I'm looking for pointers from you experts, and even some promotion advice if you have any. Right now I am focusing on adding links, but I do have an XML feed to supplement some of the searches for now. I may switch to another more suitable search feed, but that remains to be seen.
