Looks good G-man. I like the copy, you do a good job distinguishing yourself from some of the less scrupolous home-based sites. It does look a bit plain, but thats not a bad thing really. Like you said, SE-friendliness is key.

Heh. I need to add the content for those 2 pages. I didn't want any broken links so I put that there as a placeholder while I design those pages. I figured it'd be better to get the new design up sooner rather than later and I could tweak as I go along.

Thanks for the comments tho! I know it's a lot better than what I had but it feels like something is missing - I just can't determine what that is The #1 site for my field is home-based-business-opportunities dot com. They're site is kinda plain as well but still looks somewhat better than mine. I'm still learning how to do site design - I'm a programmer by trade.

One of my primary design goals was to make the page load really fast and have lots of important text towards the top of the page. An analysis of Yahoo (for which I don't rank atm) showed that those pages have plain designs and lots of text towards the top of their pages so I figured I'd copy what they're doing to get ranked (hopefully).

This was my first real stab at css and I'm sure I can improve on it though. I'm glad it doesn't look like a scam home biz site

Thanks for the comments.

It's actually a RSS feed Wanted some dynamic content on there that changes daily just in case I don't get to updating the front page daily.

G-Man

As soon as I landed on ur site, I found something very disturbing to my eyes and wanted then and there to close rather than to proceed furhter to traverse through the other pages.

the big font in black and yellow in particular don't depict a good serious kind a site. By serious I mean serious in business or profession. This shows some fun and message posting site.

Hope u understood wat I mean?

Animesh

My first impression: Definitely a site that was developed around Adsense.

Try to work around that, either by making a better layout in terms of aesthetic style and not bolding the Home Based Business (as it isn't necessary).

The links are too small and inconsistent with Adsense. If you really are trying to pull a good CTR, try having the link size fonts all match (including Adsense).

In addition, you may want to optimize your text, as your ads are not geared towards home based business ads.

It's a great site, nonetheless, good luck!
