You mean, does it appear too often ?
clearly not, you can be first with a 100% density

jwbond,

Spamming, as you know is where you do stuff for search engines in preference to visitor usability.

Your Link image alt tags are not spam. They add more information about the link destination which I found helpful.

The alts on your main decorative image is spam. Bid bonds have nothing to do with the image. Make such alt text descriptive, or if the image is just for decoration then use an empty alt.

The text at the top of your page is not spam. It is ugly, I would get rid of it.

I personally think you have overdone the on-page optimisation to the point where your page is less useful to visitors than it could be.

I would re-write the copy to make it as usable as possible for visitors, and focus more on getting more inbound links from related sites. Inbound links are where the real magic can be found.

i agree the site is not the best looking on the web, but my main goal is to bring in as much traffic as possible. i have done work on inbound links for quite some time now and don't know where else i can get them (for free). im on dmoz, yahoo directories, and i submit to every site i can find. i used link:www.my_competitors.com on google to see where my competitors are getting their links. im out of ideas on how to get more inbound links. i have a pr6 rating. any ideas on how to make the "real magic" happen? thanks for the input guys, its appreciated. im old to the game but new to actually reading and taking advice from others.

Your site looks better than most other sites on the internet. You have no worries on that front. As long as the site looks professional it will give the visitor enough confidence to read your copy.

It's the copy that wins. Let's say I get 4 hits from a search engine per month, and I convert 2 into sales. I'd be a happy VORD. It's copy that will do that for me. Having 1000 visitors and 0.1% conversion is not so good. There is a balance in the middle.

Your link strategy is good. It's a case of keeping at it and getting a few new links every week. Differnt directories, link swaps, anything you can think of that will result in a quality link.
