i dont think my brain is big enough to cope!

hi everyone,
i know a bit about SEO and have optimised my pages and have recently employed someone with greater knowledge than me
to improve our ranking in SE's and in particular Google - which is the most important obviously. However, the work he has done
is still not up to the level i hoped we would make. All the issues surrounding SEO really confuse me and there are so many different theories about which methods are best i don't know what to do to get to the next level.

If anyone could offer some help and perhaps look at my site www.febland.co.uk/contract_chairs/ that would be great and much appreciated. The contract chairs folder is the sub-site we have had work done to and the main domain site is the one i have worked on. Thanks for reading this post.
