Hello all, nice forum here. Some extremely useful info so far. I have been tasked with SEO for my company's website, www.telkonet.com. I am relatively new to this field, and could use some tips/advice on the following issues:

FYI, Our company provides data communication solutions over ele*tric@l wiring within commercial buildings (broadly referred to as pow3line comnic#ions).

Three days ago, our site did not have a title, and our meta description was spelled "desciription", so that was not functioning. I have added what I feel is a relevant title, fixed our keywords (which were a spam-style mess), but get the feeling there is a lot of work still to be done.

I am learning HTML right now, but the results from the WC3 Validator didn't really make sense to me. Any help on this would be appreciated. I get the feeling it means that our code is riddled with errors, is this correct?

Currently I am working on getting backlinks from pow3line comnic#ions asociation websites, partners of ours, etc. Suggestions on useful programs or ways to go about this would be appreciated.

I plan on buying some google adwords, mostly inexpensive highly targeted ones designed to attract potential B2B partners. Currently I am using overture keyword tool to judge the popularity of search terms. Is this related to yahoo searches only? Any other good tools out there?

All seems ok. One issue I found was when you select the Markets menu, it leaves options on the screen when you then select another menu. If you go back to the markets menu the text overlaps. Just needs tidying up thats all.
