Dear Friends:
One of the sites I maintain http://www.sonirodban.com used to be in top 5 searches for search terms like Toyota Hilux Vigo, Toyota Fortuner, pickup truck thailand since 2004. From 2008 to 2011 we were number 1 and 2 on most searches. By end of 2011 we started declining in SERP. Recently we suffered serious decline in our SERP.

Since we were ruling the roost we grew a little complacent so any tips would be appreciated.

Hard to look at, hard to read... the page goes on forever with totally over stuffed keyword spammy content. All that off site cross linking all over the top of page... Wow. All your tactics are about 10 years old. I'm surprised it listed well as long as it did.

I'd start over with new design... and a content outline.

Thanks for your review. I want to swith this site to Joomla but I had a site http://sonimotors.net which used to be PR3 but when I moved it to Joomla it went to PR0 and then took a year to go back to PR3 but has since then been stuck at PR2. I will for now make changes to static html until I figure out a way to maintain my ranking in Joomla. I will also love your feedback on my other request for site review on this forum for thailand-dealer.com.

Till recently all Thai auto exporter sites looked very similar to this and we were told ten years ago to have a lot of content and to place keyword every six words or so.

What do you mean by content outline?

Please take another look. It is not ideal. Design is the same but I was able to convince our designer to take most content. Not as much as I would like to but still only 20% content of the original remains. Links on top have been trimmed. Since there are no menu internal links have to be somehow accomodated on the first page. If i can figure out a way to preserve PR I would move to Joomla so need for so many internal links is obviated and design can also be freshened with embarassment of choices when it comes to templates.

Your page reminds me of New York Time's square. Every inch of space screaming out at you with an overload of information. It's just overwhelming and not too easy to use.

By "Content Outline" I meant for you to plan out what your page should offer, what your potential customers are looking for, and provide that for them in a clean easy to see manner.

Search Google for Car Dealerships in Chicago, view a few of the top ones to visit... see how everything is laid out, how easy it is to read and find what you might be looking for?

You should be thinking of usability 1st. If you create your site and pages, with the user in mind, you can work in the main keyword phrase for the page normally. No need to work a keyword in EVERY SIX WORDS, that is crazy. Would you like to listen to a sales man talk like that? NO. Do you want to read anything like that? No. Design for the user, and work the keywords in naturally.

I'd like to second Swirly's comments. I literally couldn't stand to read your home page, never mind clicking on any of the links. When it's that overloaded with keywords, it doesn't read naturally, and provides a very poor user experience.

Let me start by saying that I'm not an SEO, but if I were trying to fix this site, I'd start by making a list of the things I want my visitors to know, and then thinking about the best ways of conveying this without screaming it in their faces. Rather than have one page that goes on forever, you might find it more effective to separate some of that content into category pages (my apologies if you already do that, at least to some degree -- as I noted, I could hardly stand to read your home page, let alone click on the links).

Do it right, and someone searching for, say, commercial trucks, will go to your site's category page for commercial trucks, rather than wind up on your home page. You WANT that to happen, because that's where all of your information of interest to that searcher will be; why should they sift through all the other stuff if that's not what they're looking for?

Your website give users a bad experience.
1. too much content in only one page
2. you should give a easy to read layout
3. use the headings properly and clearly
4. too much links for reading.
