This little baby has robbed me of some sleep the past few nights. It is a combination of a directory and a link exchange management tool.

Right now the directory aspect of the site is ~70% complete and the link management functionality is ~50% complete.

This site is intended for internet-savvy users that have at least basic SEO knowledge. Right now the site is not designed to help anyone understand what pagerank is or how link exchanges help your SERPs, etc. Eventually I'll add some articles and content, but right now I am focusing on the functionality.

I am looking for feedback on the following:

1) Homepage - Based on your level of understanding of SEO, do you quickly get a sense of what the site is all about? Should the directory be the homepage instead?

2) Sign-up process - I am trying to integrate phpBB functionality and user information into the site. Let me know if you found sign-up to be straight-forward.

3) Registering a domain - Was it easy and straightword? Did the PR and google page index checks work for your site? Is there additonal information I should be capturing?

4) Directory listings AFTER you are logged in (a lot more detail is displayed after you are logged in). Look at directory listings after you are logged in to the main site... how do they look?

5) Directory structure ... I know it is a simple directory structure with no depth, but I am thinking I need it to be small until I have a few hundred sites registered. Still, if you see any gaping holes that should be filled even at the outset, please let me know.

It's a functional site and so it may not be as easy to breeze though as pure content sites. I really appreciate the time anyone can put in to take a look and give me your feedback and report any (hopefully not!) bugs you find.

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

I just signed up with your service. I found it extremely clever to use the forum signup as a registration for everything. Great idea.

The concept of your site is well thought-out, easy to navigate, and find what I'm looking for.

Well done, and can't wait for the rest of the functionality to be completed.

Cheers,

PWRFIX.
