Your forum wouldn't let me in without accepting a cookie. Have you made any arrangements to let search engines in without a cookie (they won't accept them). I'm guessing the phpbb search engine mod gets around this - have a look at the phpbb site for the mod.
I really like the way this site has forums for different religions. That's excellent. My favoutite is the Buddhism section.
For visitor friendly ideas, look at this forum. The descriptions below the forum titles here are quite good (although they have been mucking them up recently to favour search engines rather than visitors).
Other than that, get a few more inbound links that include the keywords you are aiming for.

Thanks for the help. I am checking on that cookie thing, never heard that before. I am also working on the redirect but I might just move the index.php like you said. 
You said to look at "this forum" but you didn't supply a link but I think I know what you are talking about. I am also working on the IBL's but none that I have are showing up yet b/c my site is so young.
