Hi,
was wondering if you want to review my site.
The thing I am mostly interested in is its navigation and more in general if it's userfriendly. Most of the SEO has been done, thanks to some really great advice I have gotten. Offcourse are all comments/suggestions more than welcome!

In general the site is boring.

Not sure what to say about the navigation. I guess the same thing. It is boring.

Consider using maps I think it would be much easier to use.

There is nothing that sets your site away from others.

I am not sure what I am supposed to do on your site.

Am I supposed to make reservations, get phone #’s, rates, what?

Unless you do a search you have no reservations option. Why?

That same catch line or paragraph on every page is annoying.

I have high speed and your searches are taking a long time.

I guess you are having a bad day considering all your other review comments as well and want to blow of some steam, but there are certainly some points you make that can help me.
Such as maybe adding some pictures and highlighting the search box some more.

Believe it or not I am having a good day.

I am very brutal when it comes to peoples sites because your visitors will be too.

I am only giving my honest opening and taking the bed side manner out because I don’t know you.

Besides after I am finished with everyone else’s site I am going to post mine.

This way I will get a lot of responses and they should be brutal to.

I guess I will go ahead post mine.

I like the psychology behind it, I am sure it will work! :smile:

I have a few points for you -

1.) I think you should add a lot more content related to Amsterdam whether it is pictures, lists of atttractions with links to them, etc...If I was planning a vacation in Amsterdam and went to your site, I would use it more if their were valuable links on it.

2.) I would prefer drop down boxes to select the date or have them seperated better. Like www.aerlingus.com or many of the other airline or hotel sites.

If you want a lot of feedback on your site, I wouldnt critisize the poster...Arthur may have given my site a lot of critisism but that is what you are asking for by listing here. Your family and friends are for saying how nice it is while this forum is to see how strangers who don't care about your feelings think. (Much more Valuable) Now you can make fun of my spelling and be done with it

That is defiantly an improvement. It is amazing what a pic can do. The search box is more understandable now.



I really like the statistical data.



You are right to be concerned with the navigation. After looking at it more it is a problem. This is the main point of the whole site and it is not showing up completely on 800 X 600. It appears to be an after thought so to speak.





The page as a whole is boring though. My eye does not seem to get drawn anywhere even with the graphic.



If I wore redesigning it I do this.

1. If you wanting people do searches leave the search box on the left or else put it on the right.



2. Center content is fine but I would take the graphic and put it in the Upper right hand corner of the center cell. I would also take the graphic and fade it. Fading it from the upper right hand corner into the body of the text.



3. I would take my bottom nav links and place them in the right or left column depending on what I wanted to happen.

On the bottom



4. I would copy my top nav into the footer.



Just an idea take it for what it is worth. I am just an armature.
