http://www.golfcourserankings.com/

I am requesting a critique/review of navigation/directory view (functionality, navigability) of the site.

Golfcourserankings.com is a rankings site dedicated to giving golfers a forum to rank courses around the world, that is, the people that play the courses.

Thank you very much.

This is my first xhtml/css 2 site.

Tested in IE6 56k modem 800x600. Loads nice and fast. Seems to only have Canadadian courses - the US page link goes to a page that looks the same as the main page. Otherwise, a nice design. Good luck with it.

Website is cool, but I think you can add a few pictures, of golf courses.

Obviously they will add to the sites, and will have no effect on your SERPs, but they will sure add some nice elements to the the sites, and in my opinion if design wise your side is appleaing, this might also add to your rankings... LONG TERM SEO... best for all of us...

A few pictures on the home page to break up the text would bo good. On the Browse Categories pages can you make a couple of columns? The list in United States is quite long. If it was split into two columns you wouldn't have to scroll too far.

To me it's too much information all at once and the text size is far too small.

I would simplify it a great deat to make it a better user experience.

Why don't you use dropdowns instead of all the links on the first page?

I have added new pictures of courses (Flash presentation) and removed most of the text. I also added a new logo.

Yeah, fast Loading site!

I dont like links at bottom, when you hover over them they go black.

Your contact link on this page http://www.golfcourserankings.com/r...inks/links.html isn't working for me. I would suggest a link section for golf real estate sites if you wanted to expand your link partners. (like me!) Nice site.

Very nice......really love the flash images!

Good use of the greens (which I tried to do at my site). I like the layout also. I see you used a css for print and screen, well done! When I have time will do the same for my site, along with xhtml/css. You're site is a good impetus and example.

Will add a course to the NY listings soon! Can we exchange links??? I will be putting up a links page soon...

Review me when you can....
