This website is my own and was designed by myself (although built by an ex workmate) with the intention for it to look basic but clear.The website is a place where people can get horse racing tips by either by phoning or by subscription.
I no longer work at the same place and find it difficult to come to terms with some of the aspects of maintaining the site(although i can update results,add links,etc).


The questions/help i require is the following:

After reading several articles on page rankings and search engine optimizations, i am still pretty daunted by all the lingo that is being used on this forum and still dont understand many of the expressions being used.I would appreciate one or more of the readers of this post to explain in simple terms(idiot guide) on ways in which to improve my page rank amongst the main search engines and any other helpful hints they would like to pass on to make my website much more pleasant to the eye and more appealing.

Some of the most popular keywords that i believe are relevant to my site are:

racing tipsters
free racing tips
horse racing
profitable tipsters
