Overall your site is clean and intuitive. I liked your rollOvers on the main navigation at top. However the header is a little distorted.

Also, you should use keyword rich titles for your pages, especially the home page. Something closer to 'Cancer and Cancers UK: Living and Working with Cancer' would do better for you.

G'luck!

A few small changes can make your website lot more search engine friendly..
for example, the multi colored right nav could have been easily composed in plain HTML with style sheets.. instead you are using images. - You could hae added some valuable keyword text for the page and some anchor text links for the internal pages had it been a text based menu.

Write a proper Title for your page at present it says "cancerandcareersuk.org" . Also , your Title tag appears much below, typically it should be the first thing after <HEAD>. Don't you say your name the first thing when you meet someone ?

you got a robots tag that says "index, follow" - you really don't need it. Use robots tag only if you need exclusion. That too, its better to use a robots.txt file.

Pull up the newsletter box a little higher, this will help get more subscribers.

At first glance the content panels in your body look a bit confusing - as a pro user if it takes me 15 secs to figure out how it works, for a not so savvy user it would take much more - In Internet users don't bother to spend time understanding how your site works. Try using a simpler layout and functionality for that area

The search box on top doesn't come with a search/submit/go button - though most people take it for granted that it will work on hitting enter, it leaves me with an uneasy feeling and might actually be a bit puzzling for new users.

I am sure there would be other points but these are just few things I found in a quick look

Very intuitive and informative website.
I like the clean design, except the that the background change in every page. You should stick up with one solid background.

I like the design except for the scrolling advertisement which distracts my eye from the content.

I Like the way you can personalize the homepage by moving the order of topics... How do you do that...?

When the site first came up, I thought is said Cancer and Career Suks. Maybe you could fix domain name to CancerandCareersUK.org. You can even add a little kerning between the words that will make it easier to read. I don't like the big asterisk - makes it harder to read. Get rid of the graphic under the search box- gratuitous art that doesn't add anything.

Don't like the changing background. If you are trying to color code the sections, then there's got to be a better way.

Scrolling on the right is annoying. Would rather see it rotate logos.

Lots of opportunities to use quotes/testimonials in the rotating images in the header area. Lots of blank space that could be put to use.

Susan G. Komen is worldwide, would be nice addition to your directory.

Overall very nice and much needed. Nice use of a color palate.

Thumbs up

Nice site, very well design just you have to concentrate more on on page part i.e. on title, description & keywords of every page.
