http://www.buckinghamfacialplastics.com

I completed this site for a client several months ago and am experiencing some weirdness with google. At one point google was finding the site with a search like "facial plastic surgery buckingham" but that no longer works. Google seems to have reverted to linking to a "coming soon" page that has been gone for 3-4 months now. The site shows up in in a yahoo search as #2 for "facial plastic surgery austin texas" but is nowhere to be found in google.

I'm rather new to this SEO stuff so any general tips would be great. I've read quite a bit so I've got a good idea of the basics but google seems to have me confused.

Any general comments on design, layout, etc are OK as well.

Thanks,
Kurt

great job on the layout, i like it alot.

the first thing i notice when looking at the code.....
is that javascript tag supposed to be above the html?
I would have thought it to go in the "head" section.

You need alt tags on images too.

cheers

Thanks for the feedback. The javascript at the top is being inserted dynamically via php. I wouldn't think this would cause any problems but if I'm wrong I'd appreciate someone correcting me. Does having javascript outside the head tag, or html tag for that matter, cause any issues?

I can't take credit for the graphic design, that belongs to J Straus Design (http://www.strauscanyon.com/portfolio). I just did the coding and technical details.
