hi everyone,
i can't seem to get my site to list in google (http://www.assetfutures.co.uk) it was hit by googlebot on the 26th of april 2003 but nothing appears in the index. if anyone gets a chance to look at it any advice would be much appreciated. the target key phrase is "residual value insurance". tim |

I will go over your code and whatnot when I get to work today Tim, however you must be patient as this dance is all screwed up and also you only submitted or were spidered in april so it may be you just aven't been indexed because of the timeframe. I will take a look.

Tim, I have lots of advice but it would be easier for me to talk to you about it than writing it all here. PM me if you would like to schedule a free consultation.
Some main points: 1: finish your site (there are pages with no content) 2: get a good backlink (you dont have anyone linking to you) 3: expand your keyword research to cover more than one term (study your top competitors 4: Call me I'd be happy to help |

Hi, I am not a SEO expert, but I noticed one thing
<meta name="robots" content="index, follow" /> should the slash be there? I am not sure if the robots will appreciate it! <meta name="robots" content="index, follow"> This is what is in my source code, can any experts out there clarify if this is correct? Darren |

Are all the <title> of your pages the same?
If so, I'd fix. Make the title meaningful to the content on the page. |

Re: http://www.assetfutures.co.uk
Tested in Mozilla 1.3 800x600 56k modem. Looks good and downloads nice and fast. Could you highlight (bold perhaps) the menu option that is currently selected and switch off it's link (e.g. when I go to the first link page, it looks much the same as the previous one and I have to look twice to make sure it has actually changed so the first link could be in bold but not a link). It's a bit boring as a site but hopefully your target audience will find it more interesting. Good luck with it.
