Please could you offer your critique to my site www 1stopcredit co uk. Its a UK based finance brokerage company. When the site was initially launched over 2 years ago the pages ranked very well in the SERP's. Now I'll be looky if we get a few clicks a day from the likes of Google even though Googlebot seems to visit our pages regularly. Our target markets are predominantly UK based debt consolidation and mortgage related searches.

Any review/critique would be kindly appreciated (design, layout, functionality, navigability, spelling or generally everything).

I don't think it's a problem with your website, seems fine. I think the problem is that mortgages, loans, debts etc, are just too competitive, just look at what people are paying for their googleads.

The best thing you can do is work on your backlinks. Try and target Mortgage UK etc and get as many as you can. Google shows 39 backlinks but you're going to need a lot more than that to compete with the other mortage type sites out there.

Tested in iE6 56k modem 800x600. Loads reasonably fast. An attractive site. If you want to use 'debt consolidation' as an SEO phrase then this needs to go into TITLE tag. Using the phrase "debt management" shows that the site isn't listed in Google in the top 1000 sites. Needs more SEO work. Good luck with it.

Looks good, but be prepaired for a battle. As celcon said, your targetting an extremely competative set of keywords.
