Honest opinions wanted

Hello i just uploaded my new website layout and i was wondering what people think of it so please let me know your honest opinion on the layout of the site and the design thanks

I believe your site is one of the better designed posted here. Although quite nice, it does lack a certain something. That something I believe to be a form of animation or movement. Even if it were just a simple multiple frame gif, it would liven your site up from its current status.

It maybe beneficial on your part to replace the thick frame border placed around the featured links with a thinner, more conservative one. It's my experience it looks better than your current choice.

Lastly, you may or may not have seen it, but on your home page you have the "i" in links capitalized. Sort of a blow to your pages respectibility in my opinion.

Layout:
White on grey text needs to go, its almost unreadable(refreshed it looks like its gone)
Need to make the directory listing at the bottom of the page stand out more(bigger text, bold,different color, table border, different background color, or whatever)

My Personal Opinion
Font selection for your headings is a bad choice(I don't like the mixing of sans serif and serif fonts)
Background gives me a headache, its playing tricks with my eyes.
Not a big fan of non underlined links used in the content part of a website

SEO:
No sitemap
No meta tags
Main page needs more copy
