Hi All,

Since April 07, I am member of Forums SEOCHAT. The fact is, I have learnt a lot here and is still learning. According to me, SEOCHAT is an institution. So, newcomers, don't miss out your chance..Learn and grow here.

I have a site Marketing and SEO site http://www.profitimo.com (very new) and I would like to hear comments,critics, suggestions from the experts here on My site. I hope I can do a lot better with my site in coming days!

Work on the back links.Try to get back links from relevant and quality sites.
Your site have links from different pages of a particular site (and you are somehow related with that site,that site is in your signature ) and also almost all the links are banner links.
This kind of links are not going to help your ranking.
Try to get some quality back links and use different combinations of your targeted keywords as anchor text.
Other parts of optimization is good.

Your title is much better now.

You still have a problem with your home page links.
http://www.profitimo.com/ brings up your home page (of course) but your on-site home page links aim at:
http://www.profitimo.com/Home/tabid/36/Default.aspx and http://www.profitimo.com/Default.aspx?base

You should redirect both those urls to http://www.profitimo.com/ or you should change ALL your on-site home page links to aim at http://www.profitimo.com/

Otherwise Google has 3 different urls for the same page and you run the risk of diluting your PR and having duplicate content problems.

May b you also noticed the Related links I add to each and every articles. Will these links help?are you suggesting to improve on Internal links rather than external links?

I am talking about external links.When I checked your site in back link checker,I found that you have links from different pages of http://www.thumbshots.org/ .
I would suggest you to get some links from relevant and authority sites.
Also internal linking structure is important, be careful about that also.

Well, not much left to comment after expert reviews from the above posters...just a few things that caught my eye:

* Targeted Keywords - I was just wondering about the targeted keywords of this site. By looking at the Title of the homepage, I guess that your targeted keywords maybe something like:

* Marketing Strategies
* Marketing Concepts
* Marketing Articles
* Marketing Blogs
* Marketing Forums.

If I am right, then you need to refine your keywords a bit. All of the above keywords are highly competitive and so it would be very tough to even rank within the first 30 for those terms.

* Title of internal article pages - On pages such as
http://www.profitimo.com/Articles/tabid/53/EntryID/98/Default.aspx
it would be better if you could somehow tweak your CSS or HTML template codes to bring the subject of the article to the front, will make it easier to rank for it.

You could make it like :

* Unnecessary META Tags - The META tags of your pages looks a bit garbled with many unnecessary tags such as Revisit-After, META Robots etc. Also I am not sure as to the <Meta ID=MetaDescription> thing, maybe this is a valid one, maybe I am unaware of it.

* URL Canonicalization - This is perhaps the most important thing that you should try to resolve in your website. As ClickyB said, it would be best to put a 301 redirect to make your default homepage as http://www.profitimo.com/ If that's not possible, then you might need to update your internal linking structure to solve this issue. This canonical issue is wasting away a lot of your available LJ and might raise some duplicate content issues with Google as well.

* HTML Sitemap - Since your website has many deep linked pages, I believe that having an HTML sitemap on your site will help the bots as well as your visitors to navigate your site smoothly and to a greater depth.

* Backlinks - Most of your backlinks come from your partner site thumbshots.org , hence most of those links are devalued, the links are image links with same ALT texts. I would suggest that you build links from various other related domains and consider building text links with relevant anchors in addition to image links. In case of image links also, consider variations in the alt texts so as to make them look natural to the search engines.

As of now, I can only find these things that needs to be fixed.
