Agreed! He's got all those mis-spellings in the belief that someone typing 'colleg degree' will find his site, instead of which, Google's looking at the page and thinking 'this guy can't spell! 0 points!'.

One of my competitors does this too, a tiny little site with nothing much to offer, and they have the #1 position for a term that costs $10 per click on Overture, and a similar amount on Google Adwords.

I suppose Google sees this as having many pages, and many of the right links (although they're all internal) with the right link text, so it's an "authority site" more so than Amazon, etc.

Sadly, it works really well!
