Google SEO help wanted

Hi

I am new to the forum so I am not sure about conventions - I'll not post the URL.

I have a couple of sites doing well on yahoo and google (been at it for a year and a bit)

However, my site that I am putting most effort into is struggling on google, whilst on yahoo its top 5 for 4 terms.

Some background:

Indexed by Google December 2003
About 250 backlinks showing
Some good PR links
A ton of content - I have focussed a lot of effort on this

IT seemed to get the new site "bonus" around February this year (went to 20's for some terms), then slid right down by about April. I assumed this was the sandbox. However, it is now 5 months later and still it isn't moving much. It seems excessively long for sandbox. I am not sure if my keyword density is too high or if something else is causing problems. We have other sites in our group with the same SEO strategy that are doing well on Google.

What I am looking for is a critical review by an experienced SEO. This has seemed to be impossible to find. Everyone comes back with a proposal to take over SEO which is not what I want. I want someone I can work with as an advisor from time to time for a variety of sites.

Am I allowed to post the URL here?

If you are looking for a site evaluation, there is a category especially for that and you are allowed to post it there. Please do not post it here (Google Optimisation) becuase this category is for discussion of techniques, theories, etc.

I'm sure you will get plenty of free advice although if you use the archives here (with the search box in the upper right hand corner), most of your questions will be answered.
