I'd try and add a bit more graphics. Just a few. Maybe even "contextual images" if you know what I mean.
And remember that black on white sites are perceived as more professional. Also try and come up with a nice favicon. And the width of the site is too much for my 1280px laptop (Firefox with decent-size sidebar). Does it really have to be fixed-width, or can you make it "liquid"? Quote:
