ContractWork.info

ContractWork.info
This is a site I have been playing with for sometime.

I have done some minor SEO optimization.

Please ignore the store because it is not prime time and I still need to kill the links to it.

Please be harsh. You are not going to hurt my fillings and if you do I will let you know about it.

Well, where do I start, hehe

Not sure which country you mean, there is more to the world than just the USA....
I found out that your located in Panama Beach, but only after 2 different contact pages...

The site itself looks quit professional, but not the logo.

There are 2 different headers, one on the employment board and another on other pages and why does the board has to open in a new window? Oh, found that this happens not all the time, only on the stores mainpage so forget about that

SEO
sometimes you link to the directory and sometimes to the file itself, try to use the same for all links as otherwise the PR divides over 2 URLs with the exact same info

I'm gonna stop now, need some sleep....

Seems that your trick worked, otherwise I wouldn't have spend so much time on your site!

It may be the size of the logo or that its all the one color, but it doesn't stand out. The text stands out a lot more. Personally I would put the ads on the right side and the navigation on the left as the ads were the first thing that caught my eye. If the navigation is the focus then it says right there that you are a forum.

Cheers,
Jason

Thanks for that contact page error.
The U.S. thing; you have to understand that us Americans are kind of self absorbed and no one else in the world really matters.

No seriously, not sure what to do about that. I guess my target market is the U.S. Maybe I should put a flag up or something.

So what do you think, should the logo totally be scraped or maybe color changed?

I have to admit I don’t think it fits into the theme of the site.

I am ok with the headers.
I am aware and I may add the missing stuff in the future but probably not.

Not sure what you mean. Are you saying all files should be with in the directory /board.

Sounds like what you are saying is important and would really like some clarification there.

I like the suggestion and implemented it.

As for the Google adds I will probably be dropping those to exchange that space for relevant links. But your point is still valid and will and is still usefull once I drop the Google adds

Thanks for your suggestions.

Switching the ads and the Navigation made a difference.

I think the problem with the logo is that its a square logo insead of a rectangle frame. (I know its not actually a border but it gives that impression.

I would try to have your logo be out to where the grey lines comes up on each side.

Wheres the laser pointer when you need it.

Jason
