Comedy Organization Site

I'll admit I'm a clueless newbie. My personal site gets a fair amount of hits without my trying. But of all the domains I have, this is the only one where I am really trying to attract some visitors. My previous ones have been personal - for friends, family, etc. - but I'm looking for traffic on this one:

We're an all-volunteer organization (well, maybe not that organized) that puts on audience-participation shows where we try to get first-timers on stage.

I'm looking to hit for comedy, improv, chicago, theater, theatre, jam, and open mike. I thought the individually focused pages might help hitting different keywords.

Any suggestions welcome.

the idea of specific pages is a great idea. unless you are a national act I would also recomend you try to list well with words containing "chigaco" or some other regional idea

your current pages need more content to list well also (at least the few I looked at)

it is really hard to list well for single word terms

always go for two or more word phrases
