Well as far as look good your site is good. As far as optimization it has none. If you look on the page copy you only have the word rock once. You could easily add this in the links "rock news" instead of "news." You need the base page structure to contain many of you key words in the corect density and order since much of your page is dynamic changing articles.

Thanks for the input... Keep it coming. I really dig hearing this kind of stuff.

I honestly, even with doing web design for 6 years, never really put much thought into keywords and such for search engines.

It wasn't until recently that I cared--we're a rapidly growing site as it is and we just want to keep going through all means.

Thanks--keep it coming!

I will follow all of those and see what I can do; I hope we improve on the searches.

I know the metas aren't a huge deal in comparison to other aspects (title, content, etc.), but what would be the best key words for my site (riftrock.com)?

We have the site divided up in 4 SSI documents--is that a bad thing? Also, we only have one SSI page that includes the meta tags for each archive/page in our site...

Should I have an SSI page (that includes the HEAD content) for each section in our site (news, reviews, interviews, etc.)? I hope I am being clear, but I just want to know how to get the most bang.
