Challenge for the best out there
Use the contractors solution. Maximise your contract earnings and be Inland Revenue & IR35 complaint. Contract with the hassles of a limited company.

I need coffee first > hmmm... what was the question?
Nice site, good PageRank... are you saying "this is how you do it boys", or looking for something else.

i'm not a pro by a long shot however, i can't seem to find any h1 tags also you don't have your key phrases as text links.

Some quite suggestions > whatever can be text should be. A simple rollover "image" like you have is good for usability but you lose "weight" by using images. A CSS "a href" rollover will provide the precise effect you have by adjusting background and margins. This also will reduce your file size by 25% > and smaller pages perform better. Kapsat is correct H1, H2, H3 to H6 should be used as titles and sub-titles with your keywords in mind. Welcome to Prosperity4 doesn't say much > get a nice "tag line" in there with a primary keyphrase and using a H2 element and define size and style in your CSS. Your upper left image logo MUST be a link > normally back to home using an absolute URL "all pages". A link upper left is very powerful and when combined with title attribute, Image Alt > indicating your primary phrase(and possibly your Title Bar enclosed in an H1 element) the ranking effect is extremely powerful. This code at page top <!-- ir35, limited company, inland revenue, freelancing, contracting, contractors, it consultants, computer contractors, accountants --> is garbage.... remove it. Your code does not validate... so this is a priority > validate code improves performance > but also aids you in finding obscure SEO mistakes. Beyond this (SEOing) your object is the engage visitors to seek a relationship with you... a common mistake... your website does not appear to be association with a company. Graphical appeal doesn't sell > trust does > thus get personable. The corporate staff should be embefded into the site... imagery of them actually fulfilling their company role, notation of position and by name and even a link to a bio helps. Pages related to company policies, contact etc. > the office manager, product and/or service pages > a sales person, if affilaited programs > marketing manager, support > customer support rep... these are the intangible assets that make your company unique and trustworthy in the "real world" > and they work just as good online. Make your website > a direct reflection of the physical company and sales will improve regardless of whether you're ranked #1 or not. Trust is everything! |

Actually the image itself is irrelevant - but yes to the referral in the upper left corner (whatever that is). The very best results are achieve by a link as text and using a H1 Title element (CSS controlled). However, if image/logo it should be a link as well > as the second best case. |

Hi Prosperty4,
A quick review of your site points to this one fact...in order to bring you to the top of the sauce you will need to look more to your offpage factors...these relate to how your site is being referenced offpage... if you can increase the focus here and then coordinate these efforts with your onpage factors you will be able to certainly gain some positioning for the less competitive phrases you mention... however the one phrase that will take you some time and patience to gain on is "contracting" (approx 3,540,000) results returned...this term, because of it's very broad implications will be much more difficult to acquire... and certainly you can only mention contracting so many times on any given page before it doesn't make sense So keep the focus and content of your page tightly centered around your primary set and then go after the offpage factors... good luck and a great service you are offering folks in the U.K. |
