Beaten by a Java Applet with a bad redirect in a frame created by a javascript.

Yeah, I'm not kidding!

My site, xxxwww.reversi.se is optimized for the keyword Othello.
I have 7070 backlinks that all include the word othello, though some them more, like 'othello strategy' or 'othello guide'.

The site is doing fine in the serps, ranking constantly between 3 & 6 the last few months.

It would all be fine and dandy, if this site wasn't there at #1: xxxwww.abc.se/~m8039/reversi/reversi.htm
This page has 1(!) PR2 backlink in google and 0 in yahoo! and it's been hogging the first spot in the serps for two months now!

When clicking on the link, you get a funky redirect and end up on a page who's frame set is drawn with javascript and that contains nothing but an applet and two lines of text.

Why, oh why is it in the top 100000 at all?

It goes against everything I have learned about SEO.

Can somebody please take a look at it at tell me what's up!

Hmm.. it's still there for me. I just checked it with Digitalpoint's keyword tracker and there it's at #92!
Why does it show up at #1 here in Sweden though? I'm am searching for all sites, not just swedish.

About my host. Yeah, my host has been horrible the last week. I'm looking around for a new one, but it's not that easy to find a reliable one it seems!

G seems to make a difference between google.com searches and google.whatever searches. Furthermore it uses your own language preference to sort the results. If you try changing the parameter hl=sv (in the serps url in the address bar) to hl=en , you'll find you outrank your competitor. I guess you need more Swedish on your page, maybe a LANG setting or two, to rank well on hl=sv as well. But if you target international surfers, don't forget to try other settings, say hl=ru ... to experiment.
