I guess the biggest thing I would consider with your site is more than just SEO. For a proprietary software to prove itself the testimonials are important. I would offer a link to testimonials at the top of the home page near the top. Specifically after you say "see why we are the #1 pick"...

In addition I think it would be an extreme asset to have a button in the upper right corner which says "used by" and then has the logos of the different companies that use your software.

Vice calling the software a "demo" I think calling it a free trial would be better. Many of your random extra meta tags are not needed.

The copy itself could read a little smother...as could mine (which I am soon to work on with a new site redesign

Agree with all you have said. This is actually our new product - kind of a 'sister/related' product to our www.helpdeskpro.net
and on that site we list a lot of current clients as you suggest - so we'll do the same with this product as users come on-stream.

Currently we're just struggling with getting even an initial indexing with Google, and desparately hoping we're not getting penanlised for duplicate content!!!!!!!!

"Check Prices" should just be "Order" or "Order Now" IMO, which is better psychology because it is a command.
