very cool design! first off, you need more sites linking to yours. get on the campaign trail and ask people (preferably those with PR greater than 4) to link to your site. second, you may need more text on the home page. having no text (except the links) may be throwing google off. even a paragraph might be helpful.

Dazzlindonna:

I added the paragraph as you mentioned at the footer.........it sure does take away from the site a bit....but better to have many see it and have it a bit more cluttered, than no one see it and have it pristene...=)

P.S. As for the links, those should show this Dance.....I have added them all within the last month...I only have about a 100 at this time though.

Thanks for the advice!!

Smile

The design is very nice! I like it! Downloads rapidly too!

Just a few things that I noticed that will help to "tweak" your site to move you up in the serp's

#1 Personally I would change the name of the homepage to:
Kansas City Apartments - Kansas City Premier Apartments, because the search keywords for your site would most likely be:
Kansas City Apartments

#2 I didn't notice a link to a sitemap on your homepage... this really seems to help as far as Google goes.

#3 Most important thing I noticed was the need for anchor text to your links using your specific keywords for each page... this is just as important for you website interlinking as it is for incoming links. For a really simple explanation to this I have an article posted at:
http://www.gnc-web-creations.com/secrets.htm

#4 Make sure that the EXACT title of your page is listed in your text content a few times... I may have missed it but it appears you had Kansas City Apartment but not Kansas City Apartments... Google indexes singular and plural terms separately.

Hope this helps at least a little!

Ghost!
Thank you for taking the time to help me with all of those great tips =) I appreciate it greatly!
It seems last night I lost what little ranking I did have....so I am wondering if I did something completely wrong or what happened.
Obviously I am very new to the whole SEO thing but I am sure trying =)
I am going to continue to work on the things that you suggest and hope for the best....thanks so much! Your time and compliments are much appreciated.

Tiffany

Don't worry to much about changes in Google... they seem to be moving data around... Things may return to normal today.

The tips I gave you were all learned in these forums and they DO work...

Take the time to go through your pages one by one... remember to keep each page focused on one topic.

You already have a great site! With just some minor tweaking that I mentioned you will be in the top in no time at all...

BTW I am the Cricket half of this name... lol
