Any suggestions from you experts out there?

Hello,

I was curious if any of you experts out there had any advice for us here at www templatesresource com. Ever since the Florida update we have been trying various forms of optimization to get back to a better spot but we are still 100+ for web templates, website templates, and templates. We have no major complaints with our other keywords. I do know that backlinks are an issue and we are working on developing quality link exchanges, however linking with similar sites is not always an easy task ;) Not to mention, there are sites with less backlinks in the top ten!

No complaints about any other search engines, just too bad not many people use them.


Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

try a keyword suggestion tool (like the one at digitalpoint) to perhaps find even more targetting keyphrases that are easier to rank for.

"web templates" adn "website templates" aren't the most difficult out there to rank for, but they're not easy, either. you'll definitely need to find SOME way to increase link popularity with the right anchor text.

perhaps give out some free templates on the condition that they link back to you from the site they use it on?

I'm sure that if you would follow disgust's advice you would find enough people interested in giving you links for templates. You could get even 2-3 quality backlinks for a template, depending on your trading skills
