Yea , try and make more than one post rather than ask for info that will help your site make loads of money.
We give out what we gain back period!

You are in the right place

One of the main reasons I like SEO chat is because they are so nice to newcomers. I was not treated so nicely on some of the other sites I have been to. Please stick around. There are a lot of great people here who I am sure will help you if you stick around. I think that some people may get frustrated with newcomers that come and want all the answers but that is not the way you came across to me. I think your site looks really nice. I am still a newcomer with SEO although at this point I will say I actually know more than some. LOL.

If I were you I would read everything you can on here. You don't have to give advice to post here. You can ask questions. But don't just ask well how do you do it? Thats to vague. If you have specific questions ask them if not, then just read. Nobody is going to spell every thing out to anyone. We give each other feedback and to be honest, the longer your here the more you will know. The more people will want to share with you. Stick around.

I am stealing the links from Donna's signature. That would be where I would start if I were you.

Welcome
Your site looks great, quick to load and very informative,
design looks fine, navigation easy,
the only thing I did not like was the compulsory Email address before you could view the property, but I got round that somehow
Your PR is 3, so just get more good quality links to your site, keep submitting to good directories
Nice work

Yup SteveF.

What's more - tiansh - you didn't even put in a live link to your site on your first post, which makes you stand out in a good way! ;)

Everything looks good to me from a visitor's standpoint. Even in Firefox it isn't really distorted. The speed is kept high using "progressive" pics. Great.

As a SEO I'd put ALT attributes into the IMG tags (it could help you do well on your keywords AND it's a step towards complying with w3c) In other tags the title attribute, containing just the extra bit of useful popup text, could help in the same way. Just keep it user friendly: you don't want spammy hints popping up all over the page...

Where did tainsh ask for any info for making lots of money. All was simply asked any tips for helping with SEO...which is what this whole forum is about, rite ? and this board is for reviewing websites!

maluk, i think if tainsh was a customer and you were the shop keeper and you spoke like that, you would lose the customer, i dont think that message you put was very welcoming.

Like Wit stated, tainsh didnt post a live link and far as i can understand tainsh was following all the rules, i guess maluk just woke up on the wrong side of bed that morning...

I'm relieved to see that maluk is not a "typical" Seochat user !!

@SteveF... The email adress is by no means compulsory in order to search or view properties....this is an email notification service which makes it possible to be informed about properties (fitting your search criteria) which enter the database after your visit should you not find anything.
A regular search is available without entering your email adress...but nevertheless that is interesting to see that you got the wrong impression...perhaps i should make it more explicit cos some regular users are bound to get the same impression.
Thanks for the praise!

@Wit...Thanks for the tip about the Alt tags...i'll get onto that right away!

One thing i have noticed since posting the thread is that the site gets distorted in Mozilla....i presume this is a css problem, but am not sure how to get round this. Does anyone have experience of similar problems?...i have found other threads relating to this theme but am having dificulty relating these to the problem with this site.

tiansh - I don't use the standard Mozilla, but I check most sites using Firefox (which is similar). Although I noticed it's maybe not what you intended, FF's interpretation of your site is not bad at all. I can't comment on what Moz. makes of it, but if it's only bad on details don't go overboard... Then again: if it's really a mess you should really redesign. Moz. & FF are really catching on...

Making your site look perfect in IE, FF, NS and Opera will prob make it difficult to use the more advanced stuff. If you're really not satisfied, alter, otherwise leave it like it is... (I find it hard to make my own site comply to FF quirky rules, even though I appreciate FF a lot)
