Am I on the right track??

I have just started my first site. It is only 2 month old.

The site has been spidered by google as well as a number of other search engines.
I have submitted the Site to the ODP

What I would like to know is if anyone has suggestions as to the
1. flow of my site
2. is it properly optimized (mainly for google)
3. any further suggestions for optimization (or any other thoughts)
4. graphic appeal

I have only just begun working on keywords, in fact the only ones I have really worked at are in the satellite section.

On 800x600, I have to scroll quite a bit to see everything. This might not be a big issue for many, but it would probably stop me from using the site.

You have quite a lot of white space too - it makes for an uncluttered look, which is great, but you don't want to overdo it...

From a SEO point of view, with all due respect, your titles are weak and confusing. I see that on the shopping page the title words include - walmart, target ...
Reality check: Do you honestly feel that you can compete with the Big Boys using those terms? Neither do I
On another page, you are targeting the words shopping, electronics, satellite ... Research has shown that the average surfer uses a 3-word combination to find what they are looking for.
I notice that each page title starts with 'lowest price links.com' - This is probably hurting you as the first words in the title are among the most important.
