WebmasterLagoon experience

Hi

I recently hit upon an ad for WebmasterLagoon.com which sounds like a Webmaster's dream come true as they offer backlinks virtually at the touch of a button

Does anyone have any experience of this and most importantly do you think Google would consider it a Link Farm and penalize sites using it?

Never heard of it before and a quick Google search tells me that not many other people have either!

Looking at the site I would say that it's probably a waste of time - the sites cited as "examples" are doing quite badly and another quick search revealed that other sites using it are also not faring terribly well (I'm being kind here)

The emphasis seems to be on links from "high ranking" (as opposed to high PR) sites (not pages) and a look at some of the screenshots tells me that relevance (THE most important factor) is bottom of the priority list.

It looks like it creates a link directory on your site...
It would probably have worked rather well 5 years ago
